The Volcano Tunupa

Bolivia - Posted On

Climbing the volcano at night make me think of the Licancabour and others mountains I climbed intending to fly them down.

Bad luck again, strong north wind at the top, although the wind was absolutely calm the previous days.

However the mountain is surprisingly beautiful! Reds, whites, so many colours paint the rocks.

The relieve is chaotic, the top is made of high narrow peaks, shaped like teeth.

12 hours of walk later we sleep back at the bottom, having seen strange Incas mummies.
